At Midwest Allergy and Asthma Clinic our hope is that we form a partnership to keep you as healthy as possible, no matter what your current state of health. In our clinic we specialize in the treatment of allergy, asthma, and immunologic diseases.
We know that living with symptoms of allergy and asthma can range from being bothersome to potentially life threatening. A patients’ symptoms can vary with age, season, environment, general health, diet and even stress. Based on all of these factors, as well as any other relevant issues, we will work with you to design a treatment program which results in the most effective therapy for your medical needs. Our goal is to arrive at a treatment plan which allows you to take control of your asthma or allergy issues. We encourage you to ask questions if there is something you that you do not understand, because an informed patient will take better care of his/her condition and ensure an improved quality of life.

What to expect, Your time as a patient is valuable, and we want to make sure you get the most out of your visit with your doctor. The doctor will take a detailed history about your symptoms and concerns. She will conduct a physical exam and run some tests based on your individualized needs. In order to make an accurate diagnosis, and recommend appropriate treatment and long-term management plan, it is important that you come prepared for your visit with the doctor, and to be an active partner in your health care management.
Below are some things you can do to help your visit run smoothly.
Before your first visit, please forward to us any available medical records and a record of your immunization history.
Diagnostic skin testing with variety of inhalants or foods may be performed on the first visit. Do not put lotion or cream on your forearm. Antihistamines and some prescription and over the counter medications may interfere with skin testing, and should be discontinued before the visit.

The day of your visit:
Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment to allow enough time for registration.
Please bring the following to your visit:
If you have a concern in addition to the reason for your scheduled visit please let our staff know when you arrive.
If you have any forms that need completion such as school physicals, handicapped placard forms, or employment forms please let us know when you schedule your visit and again when you check in.
If your health plan requires a co-payment, we will collect it during registration.
If you need to reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours' notice, so we can afford the time to the other patients.
